Poems That Inspire Me
"Footfalls echo in the memory
Down the passage which we did not take
Towards the door we never opened into the rose gardens"
-- T.S. Eliot
"I will show you fear in a handful of dust"
-- T.S. Eliot, The Waste Land
"Oh what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practice to deceive"
-- Sir Walter Scott, Marmion

Poems That I've Written
Love
Love can be hard,
Love can be easy,
It's just hard to fall for love.
Not as simple as it looks,
Not easy to master,
Love is a double-edged sword
you have to look after.
Confusion
It's hard to understand,
Are we still children?
We still run to our mothers when we get scared.
We still celebrate happy occasions with our families.
We still seek comfort in the presence of our mothers.
So it's hard to say we are independent adults who
need no direction without remembering all of our memories.
Elements
Sky high
Looking down
Hoping for a whisper
Coming down
To the ground
Failing to deliver
Floating still
Feeling calm
Nothing to disturb
Embers grow
Letting go
All that is my past
